CHILE: With the support of the IAEA and the Government of Japan, the first Master's Degree in Advanced Radiotherapy

In a joint effort, the Universidad de los Andes and the Arturo López Pérez Foundation (FALP) started this month the Master's Degree in Advanced Radiotherapy. It is the first of its kind not only in Santiago de Chile but in Latin America.

The studies of all the participants are funded by the Government of Japan through its Pacific Uses Initiative and the Technical Cooperation Program of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) within the framework of the Regional Cooperation Agreement for The Promotion of Nuclear Science and Technology in Latin America and the Caribbean (ARCAL).
